Reiki

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is an ancient Japanese healing system that stands for “universal life force energy” developed in 1922 by Doctor and Buddist Monk, Dr. Mikao Usui

What is Reiki?

There are many theories as to the origin of Reiki, from originating in Buddhism to the way Jesus healed, to the beginning of time as a way for humans to heal themselves. But, with natural disasters and war, much of the documentation was lost. Dr. Usui rediscovered the healing art and today Reiki is used worldwide.

All living things contain an energy flow called “chi” or “qi”. Chi becomes disrupted or stuck by stress, trauma, injury, radiation, negative thought patterns and creates physical, mental, and emotional blockages.

Reiki is gentle and non-invasive, healing energy comes through the practitioners hands to the client and helps release blockages to help restore balance, promote relaxation and healing.

During a Reiki session the client is fully clothed and the practitioners hands are held above or gently touching the body.

How Reiki works can be difficult to understand because we do not actually see the energy, we feel it.

Axiatonal Alignment

Axiatonal Alignment

Every living organism has an axiatonal system. Axiatonal lines control the renewing functions of our body. Over time, we have become disconnected from these lines.

My anxiety has diminished and I was able to find inner peace...

“When I decided to take part in a reiki session I was unfamiliar with exactly how powerful this practice really is. I have suffered from anxiety and stress-related issues, as well as unhealthy attitudes towards body image for years. Since reiki sessions with Victoria, my anxiety has diminished and I was able to find inner peace to various unresolved issues in my life. I feel a positive change in my energy levels and this makes obstacles in life much easier to handle. Overall, each reiki session leaves me feeling more fulfilled and complete in my own spirit, mind and body.”

Qi Gong Invisible Needling

Invisible needling is a medical qi gong method used for people who are hypersensitive to energy flow, afraid of or do not like regular acupuncture needles. This traditional Chinese medicine therapy offers another option for the medical qigong trained acupuncturist when acupuncture is needed, however, cannot occur due to a range of reasons. The method itself is done using a visualization technique.

Victoria uses this healing tool during distance healing treatments if she feels the client’s body is calling for acupuncture. Just as she intuitively feels where the energy work is to be directed on the body or in the person’s aura, she feels what acupuncture points or acup point prescription or point combinations are to be applied.

It is all about vibration and frequency and most importantly intention, energy flows to the area of intention. All living things are made of energy, science has proven this, acupuncture too has a frequency and an effect on the body whether the needles are present or not.

The energy of the needle functions is infused into the acupuncture points even if the physical needle is not present. Even in-person treatments sometimes involve holding an acupuncture point and sending in the healing vibration just as if the needle were being inserted. Sometimes we simply hold a needle in the tube on an acupuncture point on the body without actually inserting it, this is a Japanese style acupuncture technique.

Victoria started adding invisible needling to her distance healing sessions when she would be doing distance reiki and therapeutic touch and client bodies were ‘calling’ for acupuncture points. She never had the original intention of doing distance invisible needling, but when the bodies were signalling for this, it only made sense to follow the instructions. It is not up to me to question to requests but to listen to and follow the guidance being presented. These sessions are not about me, they are about helping to the best of my ability and what is best for the person receiving the treatment.

Advances in quantum physics have identified the healing principles in certain types of energy work.

“Energy and the use of energy and healing will be the biggest frontier in medicine over the next decade.”

Therapeutic Touch™

Therapeutic Touch is an energy field modality where the hands are used to balance the energy field to enhance the body’s natural healing process.

Developed in the early 1970’s by Dora Kunz and Dolores Krieger, PhD, RN, this therapy is perceived to be on the leading edge of 21st century vibrational medicine. It is used in hospitals and by many health professionals, holistic practitioners, therapists, counsellors, clergy, and educators.

When disease or injury occurs, the flow of energy becomes disrupted, obstructed, or depleted. Therapeutic Touch attempts to influence the energy flow to restore the field to a state of equilibrium.

SESSIONS

The client remains fully clothed and the session usually does not exceed 20 minutes. The session can be administered in a sitting or lying position and is recommended to always be followed by a period rest. It is suggested to wait 48 hours before having any other healing modality session.
Victoria offers this in conjunction with her other services.
